derek f: In a galaxy far far away, a space alien's poop was unceremoniously ejected from the garbage chute of a spaceship. The space-poop floated through space in a trajectory that eventually collided with the earth's orbit. The poop fell from the skies and landed in present day Moldovia. Over time, a tall beautiful tree grew from the poop-seeds. It was the only tree in the world that grew corn on its leaves. That may or may not have had something to do with the space-corn that the aliens had in their space food that fateful day. A few thousand years later, and half a world away, Derek was born in Edmonton to two Chinese middle-class folks that mostly minded their own business. He enjoys corn, especially on his hot dogs.
